Certifying Body
In South Carolina, To become a Certified Community Health Worker (CCHW) in South Carolina, individuals must complete a state-approved Core Competency training program, pass a certification exam, and fulfill any additional requirements set by the South Carolina Community Health Worker Credentialing Council (SCCHWCC). CHWs are encouraged to pursue training and professional development to enhance their competencies and service delivery.
