NCHW™ Registry Application Process

Along with the application form, you will be required to submit supporting documentation, such as proof of completing nationally aligned core competencies, relevant certifications, and any other required documentation as outlined in the application guidelines.
Once your application and supporting documents are submitted, our team will review them carefully to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and requirements for NCHW™ Certification. This review process may take some time, and we appreciate your patience.
You will receive a notification regarding the status of your application via email. If your application is approved, you will proceed to the next step. If additional information or documentation is required, you will be notified and given instructions on how to fulfill these requirements.
In some cases, the NCHW™ Registry may identify certain core competencies that require additional training or development to meet the requirements for NCHW™ Certification. If any additional core competencies are identified, you will be notified and provided with guidance on how to fulfill these requirements.
Once your application is approved, and all requirements are met, you will receive final approval and be given NCHW™ Certification with the NCHW™ Registry. This will grant you access to the benefits and resources offered to registered CHWs, including recognition within the community health field, networking opportunities, and ongoing professional development.
