Certifying Body In Development

In Louisiana, they are actively working towards establishing a formal certification process for Community Health Workers (CHWs). Louisiana recognizes the importance of CHWs and is moving towards establishing formal processes for their training and certification to ensure consistency and quality of care. CHW Association

We encourage CHWs in Louisiana to connect with the Louisiana Community Health Outreach Network. LACHON serves as a pivotal association for CHWs and outreach workers in Louisiana.
