Biography

Josh is a Peer Recovery Coach & Community Health Worker in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where he helps inpatient clients from all over the state navigate early recovery and basic needs using the Social Determinants of Health model.  As a member of his agency MOUD/MAT team, he ensures that clients receive the care & assistance they need using his keen understanding of available federal, state, & local resources to ensure people have every opportunity available to succeed.  As a person in recovery, he uses any platform available to him to address these at-risk populations’ needs.
